The Best Western Waterville Inn features approximately 3000 square feet of meeting space, along with 86 deluxe guest rooms. We have handled conferences for the GAR, Irving Tannery, Maine Department of Education, bus tours, numerous other state agencies, wedding receptions and business meetings.
Banquets at The Best Western Waterville Inn are prepared by the Governor’s Restaurant, which seats over 175 guests and is famous for its home-cooked meals, large portions, low prices and the finest dessert selection in central Maine.
The hotel owns or has access to all of the most modern audiovisual equipment you might need to make your presentation a success. Meeting Rooms
The Governor’s Ballroom: This is a 1,800 square foot function room. It is ideal for any kind of function up to a total of 125 people. The room is equipped with a built in dance floor, a portable bar and is located across from and in view of the hotel’s outdoor pool & hot tub (See Below for Meeting Room Layout).
The Capitol Room: At approximately 900 square feet, this is our second largest room. This room has been renovated this year and include: New Walls and wall coverings, ceilings, lighting and carpeting. The Capitol Room still has it’s fireplace for that touch of home look at holiday parties. This room is ideal for the guest looking to impress family, friends, or clients.
